There's nothing all that bad about the rooms at the Windmill. In fact, most guests mention that they found the rooms were clean and tidy. Some felt they lacked attention to detail but the consensus seems to be that they provide acceptable surroundings for the night.

With just a few exceptions, guests enjoy the Sunday carvery on offer at the Windmill, mostly describing the food as nicely prepared and tasty. Service also appears to be good, with the majority of reviews suggesting that the staff is friendly and attentive.
