Hotel The Whitehall (Bournemouth, United Kingdom)

There are large ground floor rooms which can take a wheelchair with ease. There is, from these rooms, direct access to the hotel gardens and via a back gate, there’s a short cut to the beach and town centre.

Well prepared and served, menus are varied and appealing. The value is terrific and in this area and others, the hotel scores well above its measly 2 star rating. The bar is good too although, for local ales, try the nearby Goat + Tricycle.

Staff are always friendly and accommodating. They keep everywhere, including the rooms, spotlessly clean. There is an air of relaxation about the place, which is just the right atmosphere for a holiday break.

Both are very small! The lift works though, providing gates are closed properly and the car park is fine, if you are lucky enough to find a space. If not, prepare for headaches to start!

You can hear everything from neighbouring rooms and so can they!

They’re getting past their sell by date + are in need of updating. The clientele, also, is generally knocking on a bit so, if under 60, you may feel too young for this hotel!
