The Westleigh hotel is close to the University of Bradford and very central for all that Bradford has to offer. Business visitors in particular find the hotel very convenient though the hotel receives good reviews from holiday makers as well.
Rooms at The Westleigh are spacious and well looked after. They are done up in a contemporary style and offer relaxing and comfortable stays, said guests.
The staff is described as polite and helpful. The pub and restaurant at the hotel also receive positive mentions. Guests say that the restaurant offers good food and the pub is a good place to unwind and enjoy the evening in a convivial setting with karaoke and a fun vibe.
Some guests felt that the hotel could do with a makeover. Peeling wallpaper, curtains that wouldn't shut properly, dirty carpets, rusty locks and lumpy beds were some of the problems pointed out by guests.
Guests point out that the entrance shown in pictures is actually that of the restaurant and pub. The hotel entrance is on the side and in a rather unattractive place. The surrounding area is a little rundown looking felt some guests.
The hotel is centrally located but can get rather noisy said guests. The rooms are not very well soundproofed and this is made worse by the fact that the hotel offers karaoke, which can carry on till pretty late into the night making it difficult to sleep.
