Returning guests report the resort is a brilliant choice for a family getaway or a romantic couples retreat. Surrounded by rainforest with a direct private beach access, an outdoor swimming pool with loungers and parasols, a first-class health and wellness spa, massage services, and barbecue facilities, the location is ideal for laid back relaxing or as a base for exploring the sights and outstanding recreational opportunities in the area. The resort offers bicycles, kayaks and beach equipment for rental use. Within a 10-minute walk from Somosomo Bay, Kula Eco Park is a 15-minute drive away and it's just a 25-minute drive to Naihehe Caves.

The multi-lingual service staff receives high praise from guest who note that everyone goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. All guests requests are processed promptly and always with a big smile.

Decorated in a pleasing beach theme decor, the guest accommodations feature traditional Fiji architectural accents, air-conditioning, and all the amenities one could anticipated in a first-class resort. The property is tidy and nicely landscaped, the apartments very clean and comfortable.

Some guests have complained of confusion with reservations and noted that they were not given the accommodation they anticipated. While management corrected the problem the following day, guests expressed dissatisfaction with the temporary solution as it was not up to the standards of the rest of the resort.

Guests comment that the property is old and in need of loving attention, noting cracked floor tiles, plumbing problems, and a public areas ready for an update.

Several guest commented that food was fresh and portions generous, yet predictable and boring, with little variety in the offerings. Guests said entrees lacked flavour and presentation was uninspired.
