Guests are appreciative of the surroundings of this hotel. It's hard not to like such a scenic landscape. Inside the hotel, guests note the various rooms where you can kick back and relax a little. The decor in the larger sitting room draws some bemused feedback but guests find it comfortable regardless.
The family team at the helm of the Traddock attract plenty of positive feedback, with many guests feeling the hosts have mastered the balance of being attentive without being intrusive. By all accounts, you (and your dog) will receive a warm welcome here.
Feedback from guests suggests that an excellent dining experience is on the cards here. The chefs do have 2 AA Rosettes after all. Guests are complimentary about all dining features, so you can expect everything from breakfast to afternoon tea to be a real treat.
Guests occasionally mention that they felt a little out of place at the Traddock, namely because they felt the property was better suited to an older clientele. Not everyone felt this way but this hotel does seem to cater to very specific tastes.
Although guests tend to rate the standard of the rooms highly, reviews do highlight some minor shortcomings, mainly in the bathrooms. The water pressure in the showers can be a bit weak and some floor tiles are broken. A few guests also mention that the sink was located in the bedroom part.
A couple of guests were rather perturbed to realise that dogs were allowed in pretty much all areas of the hotel (with the exception of the restaurant). Of course, this suited dog owners just fine.
