Hotel The Swan (Wotton-under-Edge, United Kingdom)

The recently refurbished rooms are super cosy, and you'll find all that you need for a short stay right there. The bathrooms are nicely designed, and there's a very homely feel to the whole place since the renovated it.

The food served in the restaurant is cooked to perfection, and there are plenty of options on the menu. They even have some nice kids' meals too, but the best part is that the prices are reasonable and the portions rather generous.

The staff at this hotel are keen to help out their guests and are only too willing to give advice on the area or walk you through all the items on the menu. They are very patient and make everyone feel very welcome.

There have been a few complaints about how this place is run and while the complaints themselves aren't too serious the fact that the management team always have an excuse bothers some guests. Sometimes you just have to take responsibility for problems.

The free car park is actually a two-minute walk away which isn't too much trouble for most but can be for those with mobility issues. You can't really unload your luggage at the front door either as the street is too narrow.
