Hotel The Stardust Lodge (South Lake Tahoe, USA)

The price is reasonable and fair. The location is fine and during the week they have a load of kids activities. There is plenty to do and see.

The staff are helpful, friendly, and attentive. You actually have a smile on your face when paying for your accommodation because you've felt so welcomed.

The hotel offers freebies, which adds a really nice touch to your stay. Free movies, bikes, popcorn, laundry, and even breakfast. The gesture helps you to feel more secure and relaxed at the facility. The complimentary goodies simply add to your overall comfort and satisfaction.

Breakfast is much too simple and there is no hot breakfast either. However, it's not too much of a worry as there are plenty of eating places in the area.

There are only fans and no air conditioning. Unfortunately, the fans only circulate the hot air. If you go during the summer months you are going to faint. The toilet paper is low quality and exceedingly thin too. And what good is a coffee machine without coffee?.

The hotel on the outside basically looks a wreck. The appearance is rundown and you may even want to turnaround in disgust. Yet, when you go inside the rooms are amazingly comfortable, modern, and clean. So if you booked this hotel and are caught off guard by its outside appearance, remember "you can't judge a book by its cover.".
