Hotel The Smallville (Beirut, Lebanon)

The Smallville is said to have modern decor and gorgeous design — including plenty of red, in reference to the Superman television series of the same name — as well as plenty of space and a very high level of cleanliness. Furthermore, guests said they had everything they could need, including high-tech furnishings and quality toiletries.

Those who stayed said they had staff assistance available around the clock and this was generally found to be of a high standard; with polite and attentive service often reported. A small number of guests, however, found the staff to be less than professional and said the service bordered on disinterested.

Guests said some nice on-site dining opportunities were available, including a cosy cafe, although a handful of people would have liked a wider variety of fare on offer. On that note, the hotel is apparently close to the dining and bars of Badaro Street, as well as handy to the Lebanese National Museum and a short drive away from downtown Beirut.

Some of those who stayed at The Smallville were disappointed with what they said was expensive on-site parking charge, as well as a lack of English-language TV channels and an overall poor channel range. Furthermore, a few guests reported experiencing a little internal and exterior noise during their stay.

Guests occasionally mentioned that they experienced issues connecting with the free Wi-Fi service on offer here and thought that the standard should have been higher for the price.
