The Sindbad hotel is located in Hammamet, on its own 150m long strand of beach, complete with deck-chairs, mattresses and showers. Refurbished in 2008, the five stars establishment is surrounded by gardens boasting palm trees and exotic plants. In the 146 rooms and 9 suites, guests are provided with bathrobes. They all have either a terrace or a balcony, and the suites, with a capacity of up to 8, are directly on the beach. They also boast a jacuzzi bath. Arabic, international, Tunisian and Asian cuisine are offered in the various restaurants, some serve meals indoors, others by the pool in summer or on the beach (barbecues are organised from time to time). Three bars, one by the pool, the other in the style of an English pub and the third in the lobby, with live music in the evening, provide refreshments. Three pools and a couple of shops are available on site, but those who wish to discover Tunisia can take advantage of the excursions organised. The hotel part owns the citrus 45-holes golf course, and golfers staying here can use the free twice-hourly shuttle bus and pay reduced green fees.
