Though the staff is warm and friendly at The Rowbarge in Woking, UK, guests say that they are sadly disappointed by the rooms. Rooms are tired looking but rates are expensive. The hospitality tray has nothing but a kettle. No milk or tea bags or sugar sachets are present. The carpets are stained in several places. The bathrooms look dated and have rust and marks all around the shower. The bathrooms sink is too small but the tap is forceful which results in water spraying all around.

Many guests say that the Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms, which is inconvenient for guests travelling on business. They were unable to turn on the TV and say that they kept waiting for it to be fixed. There are connecting doors in the rooms and guests can clearly hear conversations of neighbouring residents. Curtains are hung incorrectly with the gaps letting light stream in. Paint flecks are all over the furnishings.

Guests do not like that they have to pay extra for breakfast. It is also served too early and only until nine. Besides guests have to book a time to be served the meal. Many guests say that it was not worth all that trouble. While many guests say that the pub of the inn offers good facilities with a relaxing garden to unwind, they say that it managed to run out of beer at least twice in a week.
