The Richmond in Shanklin is a Victorian building, some 150 years old. This is a private home run by husband and wife with 5 guest rooms. The hosts hope to offer a level of comfort that will exceed your expectations and at highly competitive prices. All rooms have been refurbished for 2016. All shower rooms have been rebuilt offering higher levels of space and comfort. The Richmond is blessed with a central location within easy walking distance of the beach and the old village where you'll find many restaurants and pubs, some overlooking the sea. Whether you are walking, driving, cycling or using the bus, this is a perfect base for exploring the many delights that the Island has to offer. This is an adults only guesthouse; you must be 18 years old or over to stay here. Single travelers may have the use of a double room at a reduced rate. Check-in times are from 4pm to 7pm only. All rooms are en-suite with Freeview flat screen TV and most rooms have DVD players. Please note the small double, room 6, offered at a lower price than the standard rooms, does not contain a wardrobe or DVD player. Ferry ticket discounts may be available the property.
