The proximity to The Las Vegas Strip is what makes The Resort on Mount Charleston the perfect place to stay if you love a fast pace, and a large variety of night life. Guests are able to be entertained, visit an array of restaurants and bars, all just a short drive from the hotel.

Many visitors have commented on the lovely, healthy fresh air found in these surroundings. They say this is what keeps them coming back to the area, time and time again, after a vacation that seems to leave them feeling energized and revitalized.

This hotel is popular with guests for occasions such as weddings and other special occasions. The staff have been incredibly accommodating by upgrading many of the wedding guests to upscale rooms, and making sure that the bridal couple have everything they might need for the big day.

Many visitors to The Resort on Mount Charleston have reported that the free Wi-Fi was either not working, or it was exceptionally slow. Because of the mountainous terrain, and the difficulty making a connection, management decided to remove the "free Wi-Fi" service.

There have been some complaints from travelers about the resort needing a bit of a face-lift.
