The Railway Inn is an informal inn located on the outskirts of the beautiful town Woodhall Spa. It’s a family-run inn, pub and restaurant. The inn has three rooms, two double and one twin room. The rooms have simple decor, are recently renovated and are equipped with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms are also present. Suites have separate living rooms. The Railway Inn has a games area and a well-equipped caravan park. Other amenities include a garden and function rooms for hire. The inn serves a full homemade English breakfast complimentary. There’s also a lively pub on-site. Woodhall Spa is just a mile from the inn, and during summer Woodhall Spa has an outdoor heated swimming pool. The Kinema in the Woods is also around two miles.
The guesthouse is a perfect place for a short stay. The hosts at the inn are welcoming and friendly and the staff is also helpful. Guests said they have a homely feeling at the guesthouse as the inn was a small, peaceful place unlike a regular commercial hotel.
Rooms at the inn were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and fresh linen was provided. Guests said that the hosts had kept all the three rooms well maintained and were also providing amenities like TVs and Wi-Fi in the room. Bathrooms were en suite and showers in the same were also working properly.

Guests who loved nature walks said that the inn was a perfect base for going for a stroll in the nice surrounding countryside. Moreover, there are pubs and restaurants as well around for guests to enjoy a cool evening drink.
Most of the guests were not much impressed with the breakfast served at the inn. The menu for the breakfast was just basic and most of them didn't get what they were looking for. Taste and quality of the food was also not great and neither was the manner in which it was presented.
