The car park at the hotel is near the building and large enough to accommodate many cars. Guests liked that they could easily get their luggage in and out. Several guests also appreciated the convenience and security of being able to see their cars from the hotel, as opposed to having to leave them a distance away out of sight.
Many guests loved the comfortable feeling of the pub/restaurant area and the fact that they serve up delicious food. Several guests also commented on the nice variety of foods listed on the menu.
Many guests commented that some of the hotel's rooms are small. The same was said about some of the en-suite bathrooms. The biggest complaint regarding room size is that many of the rooms didn't have a lot of drawer or storage space for clothing or other items.
The car park at the hotel is located in an area with a blind curve upon exiting. Several guests said that leaving the car park could be dangerous and made them nervous because of how busy the road is.
The hotel windows are old-fashioned, not double glazed or soundproofed in any way. As a result, the traffic noise may keep you awake at night. Several guests also reported that noise from the pub/bar downstairs, old plumbing, and creaky flooring can be distracting at times and sometimes interrupt sleep.
