In all honesty, the food is not bad. The full English breakfast (whenever it's served) is fantastic. They even offer a tapas selection. The pizza is good as well.
The guest house is located in a lovely village with easy access to road travel. You will probably find the history of the guest house building intriguing. It's the oldest building in Great Glen.
The place appears in general disrepair. You may find the room shabby with mould in the bathroom, cracked tiles, windows splattered with paint, and dust that looks like it's has been piled up for ages. Rotten doors and cracked window panes are just some of the other things you might encounter.
You might feel short changed, as the facility does not serve breakfast during the week days, only on the weekend.
There is a chance you might experience a lack of proper shelving or a closet for clothing or luggage. The ventilation fan shoots dust, and cobwebs seem to find the room comfortable as well. You may also experience poor TV reception, no Internet service, and no headboard on the bed. Placing a bin in the room for trash would certainly help. The lighting could be improved as well for reading or during the evening.
