The Hotel The Privilege Ezra Royal Beach is a four-star hotel with 12 elegant villas that have direct access to the beach. It is a 20 minutes’ drive from the Koh Samui International Airport. All the villas have gardens and a private decking area around. They are provided with flat screen televisions with satellite channels, minibars, sofas, tea/coffee making facilities, air conditioners and DVD players. There are plunge pools, and an outdoor swimming pool with a bar and sun loungers that are overlooking the beach. Wi-Fi and public parking nearby is free. Guests can avail the facilities of laundry service, babysitting and airport transportation. A traditional Thai massage can be enjoyed by the guests. American breakfast is served here. There are many beachside restaurants that serve Thai cuisine. The Hotel The Privilege Ezra Royal Beach is close to the beaches of Bo Phut and Choeng Mon.
On arrival, the guests were greeted by the smiling staff with two cups of fresh juice. Staff was very courteous and went out of their way to help out the guests in their hours of need. The calm and relaxing atmosphere around the villa was loved by the guests who wanted to take a break from the hectic city life.
Villas here were one of its own kinds with lots of windows, splash pool and a very luxurious decor unlike a typical hotel room. Guests loved the open and spacious rooms that were well stocked with snacks.
Guests loved the sumptuous spread of breakfast that included banana pancakes, crispy potatoes and much more. The best part was that it was served right on the beachfront. Beachside restaurants and bars served local Thai and fusion cuisine which was loved by all the guests.
Some of the guests were disappointed with the smell of the open sewer that ran along the entrance of the resort. They had to cross over the sewer each time they wanted to go to the beach, which was very repelling.
Guests were disheartened to see the pools full of leaves and not cleaned prior to the arrival of the guests. Bathroom showers were rusty and wobbly hanging by the last pieces of hinges.
Few guests found bugs and spiders crawling all over their bed right on arrival. There were geckos in the bedroom and bathroom too, which was a bit terrifying.
