Even though the on-site restaurant at The Plough is usually very busy, guests are pleased that the service is superb, and all by very friendly staff. The food is by far the best in the area, and guests say there are quite a number of dishes to try on this British menu.
There have been so many compliments about the spacious bathroom at this accommodation, ranging from the magnificent rain shower head, to the deep roll top bath. Both of these are available in every bathroom, so you can choose which luxury you want.
You can be pretty sure about enjoying a solid night's sleep, because the beds have been described by many guests as top quality, while the bedding itself is as good as it gets. Most guests actually checked the tag on the bedding to get a hint of the brand name.
Almost all guests love the dog friendly part of this little hotel, however when some visitors allow their dogs to climb up on the furniture this is sometimes a little too much. When complaints were made to management of The Plough, a sign was put up requesting dogs to stay off the furniture.
