Hotel The Palms On Ocean (Pompano Beach, USA)

The rooms are simply furnished with all the basics, clean and comfortable. All rooms are air conditioned which is a welcome relief during hot weather. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessarily utensils. You can also enjoy the outdoor pool which is open all year round and features colorful, changing lights in the evening. The hotel surrounds, including the garden and sun terrace, are beautifully maintained, providing a quite and peaceful environment to relax in.

The staff have been described as friendly, hospitable, well mannered and accommodating. Guests commented that they were made to feel at home and that requests for assistance were responded to promptly.

The hotel is across the road from the beach. Shopping areas and restaurants are in close proximity to the hotel and the Pompano Citi Centre is a 5-minute drive away. There is also an on-site food mart which is convenient for picking up drinks and snacks.

Some guests complained that the expected tea and coffee making facilities were not provided. Other guests reported that while coffee makers were provided, there were either no cups in the room or housekeeping neglected to provide the coffee.

While the rooms were generally found to be pleasant and comfortable, some guests commented that cleanliness in the bathroom needs attention as mold has been found growing in the shower and along the walls.

Some guests were disappointed with the run down appearance of the hotel, describing the hotel as well as the rooms as old and outdated.
