About The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage Hotel dates back to 1327, set in the town centre of Bridgewater with a restaurant attached. Across 15 rooms, select from a single, double, twin, character double, four-poster or family room. All have en-suites, TV, adjustable heating, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Not all rooms are non-smoking. The hotel can host functions and meetings for up to 25 people with conference facilities. The hotel also has free private parking on site for guests. Guests at the hotel can dine at the restaurant which serves a range of modern British dishes sourced from local produce. Barlows Bistro serves from Monday to Saturday from 6pm. Alternatively, grab a drink and head to the garden. The Burnham and Berrow Golf Club is not far away, so too is the cave system of Wookey Hole, the cliffs of Cheddar Gorge and Bristol.

In the middle of Bridgewater, this old pub is centrally located making it easy for guests to get around town.

A lot of the guests enjoyed the full English breakfast available every morning. While others complimented the restaurant on all meals, breakfast stood out.

While many guests appreciated the charm and atmosphere at the hotel, others felt facilities were lacking, with noisy pipes and poor water pressure, crooked floors and wonky windows.
