The Old Castle is a short walk to Weymouth's town center, it's old Harbour, and only 100 meters from two sandy beaches. We have 5 rooms, two are en suite, one double, and one family room. We have one single room, one twin room and a family room that will sleep five all with shared bathrooms, both our family rooms will sleep a maximum of 2 adults plus children, one child under 12 is accommodated on a Z-bed. A cot is available on request, please bring your own cot bedding. Maximum age for children sharing parents room is 16. We provide a continental breakfast and available between 8.30am to 9.30am. We have a nice friendly bar serving a variety of meals plus Sunday lunch and a large garden. We have plenty of on street parking around the area.

The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive which makes for an overall pleasant stay. The staff in the downstairs pub and restaurant are also very friendly and helpful.
Parking at The Old Castle can be difficult as there is no secure on-site parking only street parking. This means that if there is no parking directly in front of the bed and breakfast guests may have to park nearby and carry their luggage with them.
Unfortunately the sound-proofing at The Old Castle is quite poor which means that a lot of noise can travel through the walls. Whether this is the sound of guests in other rooms or the sounds from the downstairs pub and Thai restaurant either can be sligh
Some of the décor in the bed and breakfast and in the rooms looks quite dated and somewhat tired. Overall a slight refurbishment to some of the furniture and fixtures would be welcome.
