The New George is centrally located in a very nice part of town and there is street parking available close by as well. The staff receives overall favourable mentions as being friendly and helpful.
All rooms are not the same and there is a fair bit of variation in size and so on. Some of the rooms, particularly the twin and single rooms, are very small said guests.
Couples looking for a romantic or relaxing stay were disappointed. Some guests felt that the hotel's basic facilities are better suited to short visits and visits from student groups, families and so on. Some guests mentioned noisy stag and hen parties onsite, which they found disturbing.
