Most guests were impressed with the clean, spacious, and comfortable beds in the rooms. The pillows were also of great quality and bed layout was satisfying for the guests. The duvets, sheets, and linens were also fresh and smooth.
Due to excellent quality of the breakfast, guests enjoyed their overall breakfast experience. They offer wide selection of fresh fruits, yoghurt, bacon, poached eggs, sausages, and their specialty black pudding and homemade breads and jams which were more than enough to start their day.
Guests are pleased with the property's close proximity to the famous cathedral which is only a short walking distance away. It is also near other major tourist spots such as Gloucester Quays, Tewkesbury Abbey, Ross on Rye, Cheltenham, Mulberry House, and other major establishments.
Aside from the small shower area, guests also complained about the weak water pressure and uncomfortable shower-over-bath set up. Most guests had difficulty using the facility due to the lack of enough bathroom space.
Despite having free parking, guests had issues with the lack of enough parking spaces. The off-street parking was quite limited and guests had to go to the property earlier than the usual just to get a parking slot without any hassle.
Guests were quite disappointed with the small size of the rooms which seemed confined and restricted. The wardrobe area was also small as well as the bathroom and shower area. It was not large enough for large families or large group of guests.
