The inn enjoys a superb location, and many of the guests have remarked on the beauty of the surrounding countryside. It really is a great place to relax and enjoy some leisurely walks.

The rooms are very comfortable even if some are a little on the small side. You certainly won’t feel like you’ve overpaid for your accommodation such is the comfort and cleanliness of the entire place. A true bargain in the English countryside.

From breakfast through to dinner, you won’t feel in the least bit dissatisfied with your meal at this wonderful inn. The staff excel in customer service and really go the extra mile to make sure your food is just right.

Tasty food means a lot of people.

Unfortunately, the high-quality food on offer leads to a large number of customers. So much so that some guests have remarked that they were unable to get a table for lunch or dinner. This can be easily remedied by booking in advance.

Low power shower.

The electric showers aren’t very powerful at all, and it feels more like you’re getting a slow soaking than the hot shower you need. It’s a shame as there are no other real complaints about either the accommodation or the pub itself.
