The hotel is very near to the beach. It's easy to stroll to nearby attractions. Ocean Drive is right there and South Point too. The district has an art deco feel to it. You have access to great nightlife, restaurants, the whole nine-yards.
This boutique hotel is small with a lovely atmosphere. Rooms are clean and tidy and very comfortable. Even though the hotel is in the midst of the action, it's nice and quiet. The housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful as well.
There are more than enough beach chairs to make yourself comfortable around the pool area. You can have your food served at the pool area as well. Exercise equipment is available, and you are allowed to take it to the beach with you. Though the hotel is where the action is, the ambiance is quiet and calm.
It seems that the staff take their time getting things done, especially request. If you need additional towels, getting an answer to a question, asking for change, everything seems like an effort for the personnel.
The additional fees are ridiculous! Water cost, beverages cost, room fee for the minibar, no free coffee or ice water, no free breakfast. You are basically an ATM machine. In fact, upon check-in you have to sign and pay for anything that goes missing, before it even goes missing!The price is high too. There seems to be little trust of the personnel with visitors.
Don't' be surprised when you show up for your reserved room and it's been booked to someone else. Though the hotel will help you find a replacement, it's a great inconvenience.
