Hotel The Lilly (Llandudno, United Kingdom)

You will find that although it is almost on the seaside, with a great little beach one minute’s walk away, The Lilly still enjoys a quiet neighbourhood since most visitors congregate on the eastern shore.

Guests have found the inn’s welcome to be friendly, with just the right level of attentiveness for a stay in such a boutique and personal establishment.

While not all rooms are the most modern, people have still been very happy with the level of comfort and cleanliness, and the traditional decor appealed to many.

While some rooms have already been updated, and others were in the middle of being refreshed at the time of writing in mid-2015, guests considered the hotel’s common areas and a few rooms to be very tired and in need of refurbishment.

A few guests and drop-in visitors have complained about the limited staff on duty in the brasserie and hotel, and it seems the staff can sometimes be hard to find.

Although potential understaffing could explain it, a small number of casual diners have also experienced inattentive customer service in the brasserie, waiting for service when the staff was not busy.
