The Leaf Oceanside is a three-star resort set amidst a tropical landscape and surrounded by lush green gardens and palm trees. Nang Thong Beach is a two-minute walk from the resort. There are 71 rooms with contemporary Thai interiors and warm lighting. The rooms feature air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars and hairdryers. Most of the rooms also have a private balcony/terrace with beautiful garden views. The Leaf Oceanside by Katathani has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Other amenities include a spa, a garden and free on-site parking, as well as a mini market. Airport shuttle is available for a fee. There’s also a 24-hour front desk. There is a poolside restaurant, ‘Orchid’, serving Thai and international cuisine. There’s also a bar serving refreshing drinks. There are many beaches within two miles from the resort, while shopping at central Khao Lak is a ten-minute drive.

Guests liked the rooms and the decor of the rooms. It is a perfect blend of modern design with traditional Thai touches. Plus, all the rooms have private balconies/terraces, which offer beautiful garden views over the palm trees, and the rooms are well equipped with all the amenities.
The resort is ideally located in close proximity with many beaches. Many beaches are at a walking distance from the resort. The area where the resort is set looks tranquil with lush gardens and overall tropical ambience. Shopping areas and restaurants are also nearby from the resort.
Guests were impressed with the spa services at the resort. They said it was refreshing, soothing and great value for money. The area around the two pools was also kept clean. There were loungers and a poolside bar for the guests to enjoy and relax.
Some guests mentioned that the staff at the hotel was not cordial and did not have a good approach towards them. They were rude and impolite. Especially the restaurant staff had a rough attitude said guests.
For the price paid, the standard of the resort is not a good value for money mentioned some guests. They found it overpriced and said that the resort needs to work on a few things to improve its standards.a
A couple of guests mentioned that the air-conditioning was not powerful and the machines were making a lot of noise. There were also cockroaches and mosquitoes in some rooms, which was a big drawback for guests.
