Guests appreciated being able to walk to the nearby pubs, shops and restaurants as the hotel is situated in the very heart of Killarney. Many also found the hotel an ideal base for exploring the surrounding attractions such as the Killarney National Park

The majority of the guests complimented the staff who they said were very professional as well as friendly and polite. Many have come to this part of Ireland for the first time and the staff gave them useful tips and recommended some good local tours.
Some of the guests were critical of the fact that the rooms did not have a hospitality tray. Those who wanted to make a cup of tea or coffee in their room had to notify reception which provided them with this service at a cost.
The hotel is situated across the road from a pub which often hosts live bands. Some of the guests whose rooms were overlooking the pub complained about not being able to get to sleep due to loud music.
