Not only was this motel popular with reviewers for its roadside location close to gas stations, convenience stores and eateries, but also its proximity to the heart of Jackson, less than two miles away. Vacationers loved being near several skiing areas and of course the national parks. The magnificent geysers and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park were less than 50 miles away, while the majestic peaks and glaciers of Grand Teton National Park were about 12 miles away.

Reviewers agreed this no frills option was short on luxuries but apart from the odd claim of dirty floors or stained sheets, reports about cleanliness in the rooms were positive. Guests often said the remodeled rooms were comfortable yet modern and minimalist with all the essentials for the budget-conscious traveler. There was further praise for contemporary features like laminate flooring and flat-screen TVs. For a tourist hotspot like Jackson, reviewers often said room rates were reasonable.
