Ideal and central location

The Islander Motel in Santa Cruz is in an ideal and central location close to both the downtown and beach. Guests find it extremely convenient to tour the city being accommodated in the motel. Guests who enjoy the beach side find the Santa Cruz a stroll away and the Cowell's Beach a mere five minutes drive from the motel. Many places of interest including the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History and the University of California are around two and four kilometers away respectively.

Individually designed, clean rooms

The 22 rooms spread over two stories are individually designed. All rooms have air conditioning, flat screen satellite TVs, minifridges and microwave. Phones with data port are present. Bathrooms are en suite and hair dryers are provided. Rooms are well maintained and very clean.

The parking areas are cramped with not many parking spaces available. So most of the time it is full and guests have to park their cars on the side of the road. Wi-Fi speed is very poor and almost non-existent. Guests are unable to connect their laptop, mobile or tablet to the Internet, which they find extremely inconvenient.
