About The Inn at Ragged Edge

The Inn at Ragged Edge is a boutique Bed and Breakfast nestled in the rolling hills of south central Pennsylvania. This historic rail road mansion is only minutes from Gettysburg and Antietam battlefields - sites of the most important civil war battles. Prominent Philadelphia architect Frank Furness designed the grand entrance to highlight a magnificent hand carved chestnut staircase, while the living and dining room areas are lined with African ribbon mahogany paneling, beautifully displaying the unique Steinway grand piano built in 1901 for Harrods of London. Each of the uniquely decorated nine guest rooms feature private bathrooms and individual air conditioning/heating systems. Several rooms have whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. Top quality bedding, robes and towels provide the ultimate in personal luxury. A wrap around porch and stone patio provide plenty of areas to relax, refresh and rejuvenate.
