The Horseshoes is a family-run, bed & breakfast located in the scenic village of Titchmarsh. It is a set in a brick building which is an old converted coach house. The rooms have a rustic decor and are equipped with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have knotty-pine floors, fireplaces and wood-beamed ceilings, while all the rooms have en suite bathrooms. The Horseshoes is a smoke free property. Free, private parking on-site is available. The B&B has a dining room where meals are served. It offers a choice of continental or full English breakfast for a fee, which is prepared on request. There are a few restaurants and pubs around. The A14 motorway is less than two miles from the B&B while Kettering town centre is around 14 miles.
Guests said that the rooms are nicely decorated. They have a perfect countryside feel and decor. They are also maintained immaculately clean and are very comfortable and spacious. Rooms have en suite bathrooms as well. There was a homely feel in the rooms said guests.
The owners of the B&B Sandra and Jim have a very welcoming attitude towards the guests. They displayed nice hospitality and treated the guests like part of family. The staff too was courteous and friendly. They went out of the way to help the guests.
Guests said that the B&B was a great little find in the village of Titchmarsh. There are not many places around. The B&B offered a nice, cosy place to stay at an affordable price, which was good for budget travellers. Moreover, all the required facilities like Wi-Fi, TVs with satellite channels etc. were available at a decent price. There were good pubs around in the locality as well.
In spite of being called a bed and breakfast, the breakfast was not included in the room tariff. Guests going in by the name were in for a surprise as they had to request for the breakfast and pay a price for it separately.
