Hotel The Halliburton (Halifax, Canada)

This hotel is in one of the best parts of town and is just a short walk from the waterfront. You can find plenty of places to eat nearby, and the neighbourhood is quaint and charming with a very old world feel.

The hotel restaurant seems to be quite popular with the locals which is always a good indicator of how good the food is. There are plenty of exciting options on the menu, and everything is delicious. Very convenient to have good food on-site.

The people at this hotel are amazingly helpful and seem to really enjoy their jobs. From helping carry heavy bags up the stairs to giving advice on the best places to eat in town, nothing is too much trouble for them.

It’s the same old thing every day at this hotel. You can get by on the continental options, but it would be nice if it were changed up a bit each day. There’s only so much fruit and cereal you can eat before it starts to get repetitive.

If you like a lot of space in your room, then you might feel disappointed with this hotel where the rooms are quite small. They don’t really have much space at all, and the bathrooms are very cramped. Not what people expect from a hotel in this price range.
