The location works out well if you have a vehicle. Within a fifteen-minute drive, you can get to a lot of places like the Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project, and St Austell Brewery. Other places you might want to check-out are Padstow, Mevagissey, and Fowey along with the local beaches.
You will definitely remember your breakfast after eating at this guest house. Each morning a fresh breakfast is cooked and whether it's simply eggs or a complete Cornish breakfast, you won't forget how good it tastes. You also have a choice of a few fish dishes if you order the day before.
In general, the place is friendly with a homely ambiance. For example, the breakfast room has one table where everyone can sit together creating a family atmosphere. The environment is much like a home away from home.
You might be disturbed by the outside road. It gets rather noisy. It's something you can expect since the building is on a main road.
The parking is inadequate and it's too far away from the establishment. Parking is tight. It puts you in a bind as you basically need a vehicle to get to the attractions. There are essentially no facilities within walking distance.
Though the décor has a quirky, sophisticated flair, some people may find it a bit cheeky. It certainly won't be to everyone's taste and it's not what you would call neutral, it has a very feminine ambiance.
