Located close to the harbour and the beach, this is an ideal place for guests looking for a bit of relaxation and unwinding. There are 20 en suite room including twin, double and family rooms. All rooms have colour TVs, coffee and tea makers, phones and modem connections for Internet access. The Gower has a lift up to the higher floors. Secure off street parking is available for guests on a complimentary basis. There is an outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy. The hotel’s onsite restaurant, the Orangery Restaurant is located in the conservatory and has a merry atmosphere where guests can enjoy an imaginative rotating chef's menu. There are lovely, safe, sandy beaches in the area for guests to explore as well as the beautiful surrounding countryside of Pembrokeshire in Wales. Tenby and the coastal National Park are a short drive away.

The Gower is located in a picturesque area not far from the harbour and several pubs and restaurants and is also close to the beach. The hotel is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside from. Access is easy and the hotel offers parking facilities as well, said appreciative guests. Some rooms have balconies and sea views.
This is the classic seaside hotel felt some guests. The rooms are clean and well kept. Beds are comfortable and offer a restful night's sleep. Several guests felt that the hotel is good value for short stays.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful said guests. The restaurant is very good with great food and a great atmosphere as well. Breakfast also receive favourable mentions.
Guests pointed out that the TV provided in the rooms at The Gower are rather small and that there are no chairs provided in the rooms. The lack of full length mirrors was also pointed out. Some guests felt that the rooms could do with blackout blinds and that the restaurant should have some kids' options. A few guests thought that the rear car park was a bit awkward and poorly lit.
Some guests pointed out that Wi-Fi was a bit of a hit and miss in this hotel. Constant connectivity is mostly an issue.
