About The Ferryman Townhouse
The Ferryman is a family run hotel in Dublin that occupies two former Georgian buildings that date from the 1780‘s. Situated at Sir John Rogerson's Quay it stands at the point where the ferry used to cross the River Liffey. Many of the hotel’s rooms overlook the river and the city centre is just a short walk away. All of the 20 rooms feature an en suite bathroom with shower and guests can choose rooms suitable for single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy. Each room is equipped with a multi channel TV, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Facilities at the Ferryman include the Southbank Restaurant and Bar on the second floor where guests can enjoy a drink overlooking the river. This area is also available for small private gatherings and can hold up to 20 people. The bar is noted as a venue for traditional Irish music. The Ferryman does not have a lift installed due to its status as listed building.
