The rooms here are often a pleasant surprise to guests. Having undergone a complete refurbishment, the rooms are found to be clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The included amenities have proved satisfactory and guests have loved the views.
Although a few guests mention that they thought breakfast would benefit from more choice, feedback for the restaurant as a whole is generally good. Guests have enjoyed the choice of dishes available for lunch and evening meals and find that the themed nights offer a little something extra.
Overall, previous guests have enjoyed the atmosphere in the pub and restaurant part of this hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming and there seems to be a good group of locals too.
Perhaps a testament to the quality of the food, guests note that the restaurant can get unusually busy. While not a negative per say, it does mean that overnight resident or not, you will need to book a table to ensure that you will be able to dine on-site.
