The langoustines, sticky toffee pudding, seafood pie and prawn linguine were a favourite amongst the guests. The service was very prompt and quick. All the salads had very good dressings and coffee came with truffles. Bar served good real ales.
The rooms were clean and maintained well. The single beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and provided with fresh towels and linen. The constant supply of hot water in the shower was very relaxing, especially after a long tiring day.
Most of the guests were more than happy to find that the Internet connection was very quick with no connectivity problems. This enabled the guests to do their online work and check e-mails without any glitches.
Few guests were very disappointed to see that many staff members had a careless and casual attitude towards their work. Some of them were very cold. There was no one at the reception and the guests had to ring a bell in order to call the staff.
Many guests felt that the rooms were in need of a refurbishment. The curtain rods were broken and hanging. Lock on the bathroom door kept falling off. The furnishings were also in need of repairs.
Some of the guests could not have a comfortable sleep as there was a lot of noise from the main road. Few of them could hear water dripping from a tap somewhere.
