The Farndon Bar, Hotel and Restaurant, Chester, is located in the Cheshire village of Farndon near the border between England and Wales, between Chester and Wrexham. The origins of the building date back to the 16th Century and today it combines contemporary facilities with a traditional setting. The hotel has just four guest rooms and one suite and the accommodation has an AA 4-star Inn rating. Each room is 'themed' for a local landmark which is reflected in the murals in the room which are individually designed. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with towelling robes and free Wi-fi is provided along with television, telephone and hospitality tray. The Raven Suite is a self-contained apartment with sitting room and kitchen and can be hired for longer periods if required. For special events, the Farndon can offer all five rooms and accommodate up to 14 guests and arrange special treats such as spa packages, walks and trips to the races. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and sun patio and serves meals every evening and at lunchtime on weekends. The balcony suite is available for private dining.
