Hotel The Element (Cambrils, Spain)

Overall, the hotel is designed to an above-average standard. It has a modern appeal, clean, and the bathroom and shower are a good size.

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel that charge sensible prices. You can be at the centre of Salou walking in roughly twenty-minutes; however, there are lots of buses to the area and to Cambrils. The hotel has a bus stop directly in front of it. You can easily travel to Barcelona as well by taking the bus to Salou, which stops in front of the hotel every half-hour.

You are offered a choice of a full English breakfast and goodies like German cheeses and meats, French pastries, fruit, and cereals. Lunch and dinner serve a minimum of one fish dish and one meat dish with a vast range of vegetables, several large bowls of fruit, and several desserts. The kitchen staff always make sure your food is nice, warm, and served fresh.

Don't be surprised to find the hotel asking you to wait while they inspect the room upon check-out. A bit strange, but it's obviously the way they do business. If you don't speak the local language, you might find it difficult to communicate only in English as the staff have limited English speaking skills.

You can easily hear noise from the surrounding rooms in the facility. In addition, the exterior noise may bother you as well. A train runs in back of the hotel and there is a main road in front. The pool is close to the main road too.

There is no kettle in the room, but one is available for an additional fee.
