The spa at this hotel is said to be breathtaking, with guests exclaiming that they had never visited one as beautiful and luxurious as this, and the massages were reportedly heavenly. However, guests seemed to think this was rivalled by the panoramic views and peace they experienced in this hilltop resort, which looked out over Lake Zurich, towards the mountains.
Reviews left by those who stayed named the staff as being absolutely marvellous for their warm welcome and attentive service, the professionalism of which was noted as being hard to better. On top of this, the food served in the Michelin-recommended restaurants on site — including Saltz Restaurant and The Restaurant — was noted as being nothing less than delicious and the service that accompanied was also thought to be top notch.
Those who stayed said that they thought that their beds were wonderfully comfortable and that their rooms came with all sorts of little luxurious details and were as quiet as could be, spotlessly clean and modern. On that note, some of those who stayed went as far as stating that this characterful luxury retreat was the very best hotel that Zurich has to offer.
The only drawback to a stay here seems to be the fact that it is located a wee bit out of the city centre, so keep this in mind if you plan to be spending most of your time downtown.
