Rooms at the Deddington Arms are all individually decorated in a traditional style with plenty of rustic overtones and a few modern amenities. Rooms are spacious and bright and are immaculately clean.

The en-suite bathroom facilities attached to each room are bright and very modern with plenty of space in a well-laid out configuration and a clean, mostly white palette. Showers are also spacious with plenty of room to move around in.

Hotel staff are friendly and present an accommodating attitude with no request or problem too much trouble for them to take care of. Most staff are local and can offer a great deal of useful information and valuable tips for visiting many of the local attractions.

Some rooms seem to be more prone to noise issues which tend to emanate from the bar on busy nights and afternoons as well as from a nearby school during the week. Business travellers or light sleepers should try to ask for rooms well-away from that side of the hotel.

Some of the en-suite bathroom showers seem to struggle with hot water delivery even though the basin taps are able to deliver hot water with no problems. This can be quite inconvenient at times and the hotel management are looking into the issue.

Unfortunately the free Wi-Fi service that is available in rooms as well as in most public areas is often too weak to be of any use, this is especially true of many of the rooms on the property as the further one goes from the Wi-Fi hub, the worse the signal becomes.
