Hotel The Crown Inn (Swindon, United Kingdom)

Since the hotel doesn't seem to be super expensive; most visitors enjoyed what they got for the money. They weren't expecting a fancy resort with tons of amenities. With that said, for the amount that guests had spent, they felt they received a very good

Visitors repeatedly said that the inn caretakers couldn't do enough to help their guests. They were respectful, informative and attentive if any issues that did arise. From arrival to departure, most visitors felt they were treated friendly and warmly.

Visitors also frequently commented that they enjoyed the meals prepared at the inn’s restaurant. While the menu wasn't very far outside normal barroom food selections, visitors claimed they liked the traditional favourites served here.

Guests claim the hotel is showing its age. Rather than being nostalgic, it just seems to appear ‘tired’ and ‘worn’. They commented that, although it's clean for the most part, the hotel could use a little sprucing up.

Guests commented that between thin walls and thin windows, they could hear everything - the traffic, the outside noise; their neighbours in the next room. Earplugs might be in order if you plan to get a good night’s rest.

It gets cold in the evening and according to some guests, it’s a little too cold. They felt the need for extra blankets. So if you're not hot-blooded, you might feel a little bit chillier than normal based on some visitor's claims.
