These rooms are of adequate size if you plan on being in them for sleeping and bathing only. Some have been recently refurbished and are clean, pest-free and well-appointed with optimal air conditioning, Keurig coffee makers, refrigerators, free bottled water, microwaves, lots of television channels and light blocking curtains. The balconies on some have lovely views over Espanola Way. (Please note: some suggested this locale often stays lively with noise and music through the wee hours of the morning; possibly not ideal for light sleepers or families with small children.).
Great service with a smile. Helpful and charming staff from concierge to valet to housekeeping. It's never too much trouble for them to help out with carrying luggage, recommend restaurants or advise on airport transport.
First, you must walk a full block's distance (at least) from the lobby at check-in to your actual room. Then the room is tiny, bathrooms are minuscule and the television picture is a blur. Housekeeping does not always replenish used washcloths, coffee packets or toiletries. Water temperature never gets hot and there is no bathroom fan.
Boxed breakfasts are served in the style of a youth hostel. Go out for breakfast instead!
