The Chess Hotel is ideally located with many of Paris' sites and attractions being easily accessible by foot and public transport. Two metro stations are within four-minutes' walk and Sacré-Cœur, Notre Dame Cathedral, Rodin Museum and the Eiffel Tower can be reached within 30-minutes. The Paris Opera, shopping areas and a choice of cafes, bars and restaurants are also a few minutes' walk away.
The modern rooms are clean and well presented with stylish decor, comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Guests also enjoyed the use of bathrobes and slippers alongside the complimentary tea and coffee facilities included.
The staff have been described as friendly, attentive and helpful. Staff are also knowledgeable about Paris and are able to give directions as well as recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.
