The Carousel is a 3 star hotel located on Blackpool’s New South Promenade, directly opposite the beach and within a short walking distance of most of the town’s main attractions including the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark. This hotel was purchased by the Sleepwell chain in 2004 who completely refurbished all of its 92 rooms and modernised its interior adding the Fylde conference centre and a restaurant called Restaurant 21. Each of the rooms is air conditioned and has en suite bathrooms with both a bathtub and shower, satellite TV, hairdryer, iron and telephone. Wifi is available for an additional fee and a few of the rooms are suitable for guests with disabilities. Baby cribs are available on request. The Carousal is in an area that is well served by public transport but it also has its own car park for those guests arriving with their own vehicle. The hotel also has its own bar and can arrange room service.
