If you love Hollywood then this place has seen the best and the brightest walk through her doors since 1953 and it seems like something is always going on. Many guests remark they love the ambiance they find here that they can’t find anywhere else.

Some guests say the food and drinks aren’t worth what they paid, but for the most part the visitors seem to be happy with the menu items and being able to say they’ve visited a famous location like Trader Vic’s in Beverly Hills.

Some visitors considered the decorating choices ‘outdated’ while others feel they preserve the flare of Old Hollywood and a bygone era. If you’re looking for contemporary styling at every turn, you won’t find that here.

A number of guest remarked that rooms in the older areas of the hotel simply aren’t worth the amount being spent. The rooms and service reportedly aren’t any different than other cheaper hotels in L.A.

Everything from botched reservations, snobby check-in clerks and inattentive wait staff who serve mediocre food are a few of the overall complaints when it comes to customer service here for some visitors.
