The Belmont Inn was built in 1903- serving railwaymen, businessmen, and vaudeville acts. The Abbeville Opera House is across the street and thespians have stayed here for years traveling from Atlanta to New York This is SC state Opera House built in 1905. The Inn started with 33 rooms and 3 shared bathrooms and now has 25 bedrooms with individual baths today. Ground floor has check in, bar -Tinkers Alley, Belmont Boutique, Paw Spa (we are pet friendly), and Edward Jones Conference Room. We can accommodate events for 100 folks - weddings, reunions, birthdays. 1st floor is main dining room, wine parlor, breakfast room, foyer, veranda and 8 rooms. 2nd floor consist of all bed rooms with the King suite with its personally balcony. Each rooms has a tv and personal bath. It's going back in time to your great aunt's house! High speed WiFi is available as is an electric car charger. Various topics from ghost and history can be found on Youtube. Folks stay here to search their family or civil war history- looking for the gold, Diamond Hill- to look for gem stones, visit the Opera House, Hike Parsons Mountain or Blue Hole or just meet new friends.
