This is a superb contemporary location with views directly over the harbour. Easy to find. A stone's throw from the train station and beach as well as cafes, pubs, shops and nightlife. Its clean and cosy with a delicious menu and tasty drinks.
The staff are all welcoming, polite and friendly from arrival to departure. Flexible scheduling and accommodations can happen if you ask.
Spacious and chic with large televisions mounted to the wall and an outstanding bathroom. Excellent beds, fantastic air conditioning and high quality tea/coffee making provisions with real mugs instead of paper cups.
No on-site parking is offered, so street parking is the alternative. Across the street there is a park which charges a fee, and there is also free street parking farther out if you enjoy walking. Not always convenient when you're tired or coming in with a lot of bags.
The harbour has a lot of fish, and seagulls love fish. Prepare yourself for the vocal performances of these noisy flocks starting before dawn and continuing throughout much of the day.
Some felt the beverages are overpriced here and food is mediocre. They didn't see the enthusiasm others saw in the kitchen and wait staff. Their opinions reflected this as a pub on its best day and nothing more.
