The owners aren't always on-site bit when they are they treat all the guests like long lost friends. It's a great way to start a short break, and the staff are also very helpful for first-time visitors.

There's not many properties of this size where you'll find a whirlpool in the room. Not all rooms have one so you'll have to make sure to request one when booking. There's also a lift to bring heavy luggage upstairs, something you don't find in bigger hotels from time to time.

This place is ideal for a quiet break as the surrounding area is very peaceful. But it's still only a short walk to the shops of the area. The beach is also just five minutes away where you can enjoy an evening stroll on the promenade.

This building is full of character, but some guests feel that it is getting a little dated. They think that the rooms could do with being freshened up a bit by either redecoration or some new furniture. Everything that's there at the moment is in good condition but looks quite old.

This B&B has a bar on-site, but unless you let them know that you want to have a drink that night, you may find that there are very few things to choose from. It seems that they only open for special occasions so be prepared to venture out in search of a drink.

The rooms are comfortable, but some guests noted that certain rooms suffered from kitchen smells in the morning or when an evening meal was being cooked. Others noted that the walls were too thin so they could hear their neighbours talking.
