Over and over, reviewers remarked upon the special service provided by the well-connected owners of this prestigious hotel, such as helping guests to secure a reservation at an otherwise fully booked top restaurant in Bath's town centre.

Guests were delighted to be within walking distance of the town centre, using a wonderfully picturesque route straight from the hotel grounds. From Tasburgh House, guests can follow the Kennet and Avon canal towpath, which can be accessed conveniently through the hotel's own garden.

Guests found their rooms to be beautifully decorated, having plenty of space, truly comfy beds, soft, plush towels, and a fab power shower. They were also impressed with small stand-out touches making their stay memorable, such as the theme of having rooms named after classic writers. One guest described staying in the Dickens room, tickled to discover that a bear dressed as the author had been placed on the inviting bed, reading a copy of Oliver Twist.
